Welder/Fabricator
Kalos Services is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for designing, cutting, welding various types of metals and steel structures. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in the field, have flexibility with work hours and job location while demonstrating expertise in metal craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform cutting, design, welding, and shaping of metal and steel structures according to specifications.
- Work in diverse field environments, adapting to different projects requirements
- Flexibility with working hours and locations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently
- Ensure high-quality fabrication and assembly of components when needed
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation to follow technical drawings
- Operate various tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, welders, and hand tools
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder with expertise in metal fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications and follow technical instructions
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Proven experience working flexible hours and ability to travel to different job sites as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Familiarity with basic math calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred but not required
- Preferred field experience and Tig welding on stainless steel
- Certified welder is preferred not required
