Kalos began in Clermont in 2005 after three working tradespeople had seen too much bad service, too many broken promises, and too many problems left for customers to absorb. They wanted to build a company where doing the right thing was the operating standard—not a slogan.
Today, Kalos remains family-owned, founder-operated, locally operated, and independent. We are not owned by private equity. That keeps decisions close to the customers, employees, and communities affected by them.

The people setting Kalos’s standards understand the work firsthand. Our founders’ backgrounds span HVAC and refrigeration, electrical, general construction, inspection, fabrication, field operations, and technical training.
Some employees who joined Kalos early in its story later became owners. To us, ownership should reflect carried responsibility, service, craftsmanship, developing others, and years spent helping build the company.
