Sponsor Support Coordinator

The Sponsor Support Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire sponsorship partnership process, from identifying potential sponsors to executing sponsorship agreements – and all that comes between. Daily job duties will include, but are not limited to: sourcing relevant sponsorship opportunities, communicating with sponsors about deliverables, negotiating sponsor contractual agreements, and sponsorship retention. Knowledge of the trades industry is beneficial.

 

This is a remote position that will consist of a base salary and a commission structure.

 

The goal is to broaden our sponsorship outreach and solidify more contracts to increase brand recognition and grow our community forward across multiple companies and platforms. A previous history within the trades industry is a plus for obtaining sponsors and confirming deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Research and source relevant sponsorship opportunities that align with our company goals and values
  • Maintain clear communication with all potential/existing sponsors
  • Craft compelling sponsorship proposals that speak to the interests, desires, and goals of both the sponsor and our company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all sponsors; manage the relationship throughout the contract to ensure long-term, positive relationships and continuation of contracts
  • Confirm all monthly deliverable requirements and ensure the marketing team is made aware of them; keep track of all deliverable deadlines to ensure content creation is meeting our sponsors’ expectations

 

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Sales background – previous commission-based work experience a plus
  • Project management abilities
  • Detailed-oriented, organized, and a self-starter
  • A history with contract negotiation
