Content Creative & Graphic Design

The Content Creative will define and understand the project requirements in order to create visually appealing and on-brand assets such as: illustrations, logos, informative designs, social media reels, advertisements, and more.  As a content creative, you will be maintaining a consistent brand guideline throughout your work and ensure the brand voice stays true to our company objectives.  

 

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and span multiple audience variations—potential customers, business partners, or like-minded/career path followers. For this, you will need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into designs. You will need to communicate well, work efficiently alone or in group settings, and maintain designated timelines provided by the marketing coordinator. 

 

The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience. You must be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable with creating outside of the box on a consistent basis.

Hybrid, in office at least once per week

30-40 hours per week

 

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements provided via company-approved communication (Trello)
  • Maintain project deadlines and ensure to prioritize time-sensitive tasks accordingly without compromising design
  • Prepare first drafts of deliverables with the understanding of additional rounds of edits being likely upon review from the marketing team
  • Amend designs after feedback has been received while still maintaining the required project timeline
  • Follow all brand guidelines, including font, color, and design aesthetic. 
  • Work with the creative team to produce final designs and ensure all required projects meet expectations. 
  • Test creativity with unique graphic concepts and design elements when applicable and feel comfortable presenting suggestions to the marketing coordinator. 
  • Maintain an open line of communication throughout all projects and be able to attend marketing conversations when needed. 
  • Stay up to date with ongoing graphic design trends.

 

Requirements

  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Able to receive constructive criticism and utilize it to strengthen our brand voice
  • Continuously creating opportunities for new and exciting projects or ideas
  • Ability to work alone or with marketing partners while maintaining your schedule and meeting deadlines
