Community & Technical Content Specialist - Remote (Trades Background Required)
The Community & Technical Content Specialist is a subject matter expert in all matters of the trades industry. This person will be responsible for ensuring all marketing materials (graphics, videos, and relative assets) meet company standards and are cohesive with the messaging we are conveying. You will offer creative content suggestions, approve existing content, request edits, and assist in all other aspects of marketing as needed. You will also be the first point of contact for our virtual community, including responding to virtual requests, group moderation, comments, and direct messaging.
This position will be full time, remote.
The goal of this position is to maintain a strong brand identity and ensure we remain a leader in the trades industry by providing accurate, informative content that reaches an engaged audience.

Responsibilities
- Be a knowledgeable, go-to source for all trades subject matter
- Remain informed and up to date on industry standards, news, product launches, etc.
- Communicate technical industry information in a clear and concise manner
- Provide content creation suggestions to the marketing team to ensure we are continuously growing and expanding the knowledge we share with our audience
- Ensure all marketing subject matter is correct, properly communicated, and holds true to our brand identity and values.
- Bring any potential edits or adjustments to the attention of the creative team to ensure assets are correct prior to reaching our audience
- Be a moderator of any/all Facebook groups and answer any relative questions/concerns in a timely manner
- Respond to direct messages and comments with thoughtful, informative responses that maintain our brand identity
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the lead marketing coordinator to ensure we continuously maintain our position as an industry leader
Requirements
- A background in trades is required
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- A familiarity with social media applications such as: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and any future platforms that may become available within our company
