Bilingual Commercial Projects Plumbing Manager (Spanish/English)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Manager fluent in both Spanish and English to oversee our commercial plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, excellent communication skills in both languages, and a proven track record of managing teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines and financial goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of plumbing technicians and subcontractors.
- Delegate tasks effectively, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and professionalism among team members.
- Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
- Translate technical documents, specifications, and instructions as needed.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor project expenses, including materials, labor, and equipment, and identify opportunities to optimize costs and maximize profitability.
- Review and approve project-related expenditures, invoices, and change orders.
- Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements where possible.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all plumbing work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
- Implement best practices and quality control measures to deliver high-quality results consistently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
