Commercial HVAC - Tampa
Kalos Services is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing various HVAC systems, including split AC systems, RTU (Roof-Top Unit) systems, and small refrigeration units. Job Type & Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with a need for flexibility for on-call and finish
- 40-60 hrs/week
Compensation
- $20-30 hourly based on skill level
Requirements
Minimum Experience & Education:
- 3+ years of experience servicing, maintaining, or installing commercial HVAC systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, chillers, VAVs, boilers, and exhaust systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Understanding of airflow dynamics, electrical circuits, and refrigeration cycle
- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plus
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal) required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- HVAC state license (if applicable) preferred
- Able to lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs, work in tight spaces, and work on rooftops and ladders
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures and a variety of jobsite conditions
- Must follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols
