Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis on multi-zone VRV/VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, etc.)
- Conduct system performance verification, including checking inverter compressor operation, EEV functionality, and pressure/temperature relationships
- Accurately interpret wiring diagrams and perform low/high voltage troubleshooting
- Commission new VRV systems and verify factory start-up procedures are completed to spec
- Utilize manufacturer-specific tools and software (Daikin Service Checker, Mitsubishi Maintenance Tool, LG LGMV, etc.)
- Analyze operational data from service tools to identify abnormal operation, refrigerant imbalance, or control logic failures
- Execute refrigerant circuit service work, including leak detection, evacuation, charging by weight/subcool/superheat, and component replacement
- Interpret and follow service bulletins, technical manuals, and engineering documentation
- Document detailed service reports with recommendations and corrective actions taken
- Collaborate with technical leads and project managers to resolve ongoing or complex issues in the field
Requirements
