Residential Electrician

Job Type & Schedule

This is a day shift position with flexibility needed for on-call and some weekends
Work weeks fluctuate depending on load but will usually be between 40 and 60 hrs per week
Some weekend and after-hours work may be required when emergencies occur

Compensation

$22–28 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
Install panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, and circuits
Perform wiring for remodels, additions, and new construction homes
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and plans when needed
Ensure all work meets electrical codes and safety standards
Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
Maintain organized job sites and accurate documentation

Requirements

3+ years of experience working as a residential electrician
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Knowledge of residential electrical systems and code requirements
Ability to work independently and complete jobs efficiently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

Experience with residential remodels and new construction
Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
Strong customer service and communication skills
