Residential Electrician

Job Type & Schedule
- Schedule: Day shift position with flexibility needed for on-call and some weekends.
- Work weeks fluctuate depending on load but will usually be between 40–60 hrs per week.
- Some weekend and after-hours work may be required when emergencies occur
Compensation
- $27–33 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently
- Install panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, and circuits
- Perform wiring for remodels, additions, and new construction homes
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and plans when needed
- Ensure all work meets electrical codes and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Maintain organized job sites and accurate documentation
Requirements
- 3+ yrs of experience working as a residential electrician
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Knowledge of residential electrical systems and code requirements
- Ability to work independently and complete jobs efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience with residential remodels and new construction
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Strong customer service and communication skills
