The Kalos residential division is led by Jesse Claerbout, VP of Mechanical Services. Jesse oversees every residential trade we work in, from HVAC and plumbing to electrical and pool heating. He sets the standard, builds the teams, and keeps the work accountable to the reputation Kalos has spent two decades building in Central Florida.

How we train the technician at your door.
Kalos recognizes the importance of thorough training inside and outside of traditional learning environments. We have a three-year apprentice program that involves Lake Technical College two nights per week throughout the school year. Apprentices also ride along with a trainer or monitor to get real, hands-on field experience. Internal training is continually run by one of our senior technicians so that every Kalos employee can achieve technical excellence. Bryan Orr, our co-founder, also hosts the HVAC School podcast that trains technicians across the country.

Do I really need one company for every trade in my home?
You do not need it, but it makes life easier. When the same company handles your HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, you get one point of contact, one set of warranties, and a team that talks to each other when a cross-trade issue comes up. Most of our long-term customers came to us for one thing and never went anywhere else for the rest.
How fast can a Kalos technician come out?
Same-day or next-day service is standard for most calls. Our office is in Clermont, and we cover 25+ communities across Central Florida. For urgent issues, call (352) 243-7099 and we will work to fit you in same day.
Are your technicians licensed across all four trades?
Yes. Kalos holds Florida licenses for HVAC (CAC1814620) and electrical (EC0001523), with the appropriate plumbing license to confirm before launch. Every technician at your door is a Kalos employee, fully insured and background-checked. We do not subcontract.
Do you really not use subcontractors?
Correct. Every person who shows up at your door works for Kalos. We invest in a three-year in-house apprentice program because the only way to control quality is to train it. The same technician can come back next year. The same family-owned company is accountable for the work.
Do you offer 24/7 service?
Yes. Call (352) 243-7099 any time, day or night. You will reach a live person. For emergency HVAC, plumbing, or electrical issues, we will dispatch a Kalos technician as soon as possible.
What is the difference between Kalos Comfort and Kalos Complete?
Kalos Comfort covers HVAC only. Kalos Complete covers HVAC, plumbing, and electrical under a single annual membership. Complete is the right call for most homeowners because it folds three trades into one plan. See the Maintenance Plans page for full details and pricing.
