Concrete Crew Lead
Kalos Services is hiring a Concrete Crew Lead to take ownership of commercial concrete projects and lead a high-performing crew in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving production, maintaining quality, and keeping jobs moving safely and on schedule. You’ll play a key role in setting the tone on-site, coordinating with project teams, and delivering consistent, high-quality results.
Job Type & Schedule
- Schedule: Night Work, Sunday – Thursday
- 40-60 hrs per week
- Travel: Some projects require travel (FL & GA)
- Flexibility with travel is required
- Out-of-town stays in a hotel or a Kalos-provided room each work week for the duration of the project
Compensation
- $25–29 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial concrete projects (slabs, footings, sidewalks, pads, etc.)
- Plan daily work, assign tasks, and drive production on-site
- Set forms and oversee rebar placement, pours, and finishing
- Read and execute from plans, layouts, and specifications
- Coordinate with Project Managers and other trades
- Ensure quality standards, safety practices, and schedule adherence
- Train crew members and hold the team accountable to performance expectations
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial concrete experience
- 2+ years in a lead role
- Strong knowledge of forming, pouring, and finishing
- Ability to read plans and manage layout
- Proven ability to lead crews and hit production goals
- Willingness to travel and work nights when required
